There are five departments in the School of Economics and Management of USTB. They are Department of Management Science and Engineering, Department of Business Administration, Department of Financial and Accounting, Department of Economic and Trade and Department of Financial Engineering. We have set up five undergraduate majors. They are “Information Management and Information System”, “Business Administration”， “Accounting”, “International Economics and Trade” and “Financial Engineering”. From 2005, we enroll new students based on Business Administration major categories. After students’ two years’ enrollment, they will be divided into those five majors. We are granted the right to award master degree in five majors. They are “Management Science and Engineering”, “Enterprises Management”, “Accounting”, “Business Administration (MBA)” and “Industry Engineering”. USTB is one of the 56 universities which are approved to recruit MBA students by the Ministry of Education in China. In1996, the major “Management Science and Engineering” was set as the ministerial-level important subject. Besides, we are authorized to award PhD. degree in two majors, which are “Management Science and Engineering” and “Enterprises Management”. |
