A report on the general contrast of university between China and the USA-Press-北京科技大学经济管理学院

　　Accompanied by the leaders from SEM, the well known American Chinese professor YangJiaqin from Georgia State University came to school and gave students a wonderful report on the contrast of university between China and the USA on June 13th, 2008. The report was held by Deputy Dean DaiShufen.
　　During the seminar, professor Yang started from talking about the differences of constitutions between Chinese and American university systems. He made a comparison and deep analysis in the areas school management, teaching and scientific research both in China and America. Combined his own university experience in both countries, he compared the advantages and characteristics of teachers and students from two country. In the whole process of the seminar, Professor Yang deeply explained the importance of characteristics like diligence, preciseness, honesty and courtesy in one’s whole life. The 2-hour report brought down the gallery.
　　In the future, SEM will continue the spirit of moral practice and innovation to organize more such high level reports and provide teachers and students more chances to directly communicate with scholars.
