At 7p.m. on the evening of November 9, the Information Session for “Cradle Cup” Competition and Exchange Meeting for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was successfully held in classroom 313 of the Economics and Management Building, with the school’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship counselor Ge Yuyang, undergraduate students Tang Yusen and Li Yuke of 2018, and undergraduate student Yu Jia’ao of 2019 as the guest speakers. Li Xiang and Yin Xiyao, counselors of undergraduate students 2021 in SEM, attended the meeting. The meeting was also broadcasted online.
Ms. Ge Yuyang began by giving a detailed explanation of the policy, introducing the concept, racing tracks and directions of this year’s “Cradle Cup” and encouraging all students to participate, develop innovative thinking and accumulate competition experience. She then introduced the “Three Competitions”, explaining what business students can participate in and what kinds of competitions they need to focus on, providing guidelines and suggestions to the participants. At last, Mr. Ge introduced a series of coming activities in school’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, and encouraged students to catch the opportunities and have a try.
In the next session, Yu Jia’ao, a student with rich competition experience, shared her experience in different phases, namely before, during and after the competition, and provided targeted advice to students who are new to the innovation and entrepreneurship competition.
Tang Yusen concluded inspiring experiences from the competitions, and shared thoughts and growth during the competition to encourage junior students to join the competition.
Li Yuke explained “why should we participate in the competition”, “how to choose a topic for a white person”, “how to select teammates”, “what details should we pay attention to”, hoping that everyone can venture to make use of what they’ve learned and explore their brilliance.
In the interactive session, the four guests answered questions patiently, and in the end, Ms. Ge Yuyang summarized the meeting. Through this event, it is hoped that students will have a deeper understanding of the innovation and entrepreneurship competition and actively participate in it to improve personal ability, enhance comprehensive quality, enrich their university life, and promote creativity and learning with the competition.
