During December 3 to 5, 2015, 'Pre-job Training Program for Top Enterprises ' and Training Series for Career Planning, were successfully held by the Donlinks and 'Cai Futong' Powerful Employment Association'.Teacher Wen Ge, a senior lecturer, was invited specially to give a wonderful three-day course, with the purpose of making our students early strengthen self-cognition and self-positioning, find employment target, complete long-term career planning and understand the rules for employment recruitment and promotion in advance.
The training course was divided into three major parts——cognition, decision-making and communication. On the course of the first day, Teacher Wen referred to his own job-searching and working experience, sincerely giving the students three maxims. Firstly, the vertical is more important than the horizontal, and the interior is prior to the exterior. Secondly, do small things perfectly and do big things successfully. Thirdly, nature decides action, and results create opportunities. As if had found buried treasures, the students present recalled their previous internship experience and carried out a discussion. They all realized the importance of improving themselves and doing everything perfectly. No matter where to go to search a job after graduation, the students themselves should find ways to do things perfectly. No matter the things are big or small, they are worth doing well.
On the course of the second day, Teacher Wen mainly explained the four steps for decision-making, namely determining the target, analyzing the demand, integrating the resource and implementing the decision. In the process of decision-making, the Value Exchange Law, which was recounted by Teacher Wen, need to be applied. Demand analysis must be derived from others’ point of views. As for analyzing others’ demand, four aspects——interest, idea, instinct and preference should be taken into account. Good decisions are demand-centered.
On the course of the third day, Teacher Wen mainly explained how to make interpersonal communication. The four steps for communication are targeting demand, strengthening demand, extracting schemes and guiding action. As Teacher Wen pointed out on the course, the first thing to do in the communication process should be identifying with one another, and changes can be made according to others’demand. Next, one can put forward his own ideas, encourage others appropriately, and make them full of motivation. In the end the communication was completed successfully. Teacher Wen took the measure of edutainment in the class, and the students learned professional communication while watching movies. The learning atmosphere was activated, and the students quickly acquired basic communication skills.
The three-day, six-period training course was concluded rapidly in cheers and laughter, and the attenders benefited a lot from it. Teacher Wen helped the students present establish professional communication group, in which the students can share personal cases, class summaries and learning experience with one another. This activity was held by the Donlinks Professional Development Group, with aim to further strengthen career planning awareness of our students, effectively improve their abilities to search and select jobs, realize high-quality employment and benefit the students’growth and success.
